- Choose one pay period and collect the approved register, accounting entries and payment confirmations.
- Enter the register total and the corresponding posted or paid total for each category, using the same sign and currency.
- Review each non-zero difference and document the reason and owner.
- Record the resolution and independent review before filing the worksheet.

Why is there no grand total of every category?
Gross pay, deductions and net pay represent different parts of the same payroll. Adding all of them can double-count amounts. Compare each category on its own.
What does a zero difference prove?
Only that the two entered numbers agree. Verify the source records, period, classification and payment status as part of your review.
Do I need a PayHr account?
No. Every resource is available to download directly. Email updates are optional and separate from your download.
Will PayHr receive the information I enter?
No. These are files you download and complete yourself. PayHr does not receive the contents of your completed template. Keep employee and payroll records in your own secure storage.
