INSIDE THE WALKTHROUGH

One step at a time.

  1. Confirm your pay period

Start in Run payroll. Confirm the start date, end date, and payday against your saved pay schedule. Edit period and Edit payday let you review those dates. Save draft keeps your progress, while Continue moves to the employee review. Saved payruns let you return to work already in progress.

  2. Review timesheets

On Review timesheets, check which employees are selected and review their saved hours and gross pay. Use the search and filter controls when your team is larger. Edit timesheets opens a separate page; after saving changes there, reload the payroll page. Choose Calculate payroll when the selection and hours are ready.

  3. Check the calculated totals

The calculated payroll record shows total payroll cost, the pay period, and payday. Expand Employees to inspect net wages, employee deductions, and employer contributions. Review any remittance schedule information shown here. Use Edit pay run to correct inputs, then Recalculate before you move toward approval.

  4. Review individual pay statements

Scroll to Pay Statements and expand an employee to inspect earnings, hours, rates, deductions, and net pay. Employer contributions appear below the statement. Search and filter statements helps you review a larger team. You can also use the Download menu to access the available payroll register formats before approving.

  5. Confirm the payment mode

Approve payroll opens a confirmation dialog. Check the payday, payment amount, total cost, and payment mode before confirming. This example uses Manual Pay. Available automated options depend on the workspace payment setup. Read the displayed payment and fee information carefully. Choose Confirm approval only after checking the displayed details.
