INSIDE THE WALKTHROUGH
The Timesheets page organizes daily hours from Monday through Sunday. Use the arrows to move between weeks, or This week to return to the current week. Check the date range before entering hours. This example shows a fictional employee, Jordan Lee, in the week of October fifth through eleventh.
Enter the employee’s daily time in the Regular hours row. Timesheets use decimal hours: seven point five means seven hours and thirty minutes. In this example, Jordan has thirty-nine regular hours across five working days. The row total, daily page totals, and overall hours summary help you check your entries.
Use the arrow beside an employee’s name, or Expand all categories, to see the other hour categories. The actual form includes Overtime, Double Time, Vacation, and Sick Time. Enter the appropriate hours after checking the employee’s circumstances. Approved payroll dates are locked, so those hours cannot be changed from this page.
The toolbar can copy hours from last week or copy scheduled hours into empty days. Review the resulting draft before saving. The Review column opens pay suggestions for an employee when available. Applying a suggestion changes the draft; it does not save the timesheet. Jordan’s example currently has zero suggestions to review.
Check the dates, category entries, and totals, then choose Save to record hours for the employees on this page. If you have several employee pages, save and review each page separately. Discard Changes reloads the week. When you return to a saved week, review its existing hours before making further changes.
