INSIDE THE WALKTHROUGH
Open Tax Forms and select the tax year, then choose View. The year-end table lists T4 and T4A forms and the number of people with source records. The current page marks these forms Not generated. It explicitly says slip generation, XML exports, and filing are not enabled through this page yet.
Choose Review T4 to inspect employee source records for the selected year. The table shows approved payroll counts and payroll paydays. Review details opens the employee tax information. The page explains that records are selected by payday, and reminds you to reconcile prior payroll balances and declare dental coverage before filing.
Choose Review T4A to inspect the contractor records. Check the approved payroll bill count and listed payroll paydays, then use Review details to inspect the vendor. As the screen explains, these are source records, not confirmed payments or generated slips. Review payment dates and reporting details as part of your reconciliation.
Return to Tax Forms to review the ROE Secure Automated Transfer Addendum status. Review authorization opens that separate workflow; a signed copy is available when saved evidence exists. The guidance distinguishes CRA returns from Service Canada ROEs. A saved employer consent alone does not confirm registration or access to submit ROEs.
