INSIDE THE WALKTHROUGH

One step at a time.

  1. The Documents page

Documents is where you collect signatures. The cards count your requests by status, Signing requests tracks each one, and Templates holds reusable documents. Each completed document costs one dollar. To start, select Create template.

  2. Upload the PDF

Give the template a name, like Studio North offer letter, and choose up to ten PDF files. They must be unsigned and not password protected. Existing form fields become part of the page. Select Upload and add fields.

  3. Place the fields

The editor shows your PDF. Recipients lists who signs, starting with Signer, and new fields go to the selected recipient. Add a Signature and a Date, then drag them into place. Every recipient needs a required signature or initials field.

  4. Choose who signs

Select Send for signature. For each recipient, search your employees and contractors, or switch on Custom email. Set the request title, the signing order and when it expires, fourteen days by default. Then select Send invitations.

  5. Follow the request

The request page shows each recipient's status. Jordan gets a private email, verifies with a one-time code, and signs on the document. You can remind or cancel while it's waiting. Once signed, download the sealed PDF and signing receipt here.
